Eight Photos of the new arrival

big eyed baby

Photographic evidence that I wasn't making it up.

A small photo diary of lily's first week.

Awesome photos. Interestingly, my first is named Lily, too.

Hang in there, they aren't newborns forever.

"The ratio of eyes to body is larger at birth than at any other time throughout life."

cuteoverload.com will tell you this is a recipe for overwhelming cuteness.

Thanks for the last drawing. Now I know what I'll look like in June, except with a lot less facial hair.

'John Walker' on Fri, 09 Feb 2007 02:49:12 GMT, sez:

Congrats...I've got a 6 month old. It is the best!

'Janette' on Fri, 09 Feb 2007 03:28:04 GMT, sez:

Ohhhh, you two. I'm all weepy. Paul only told me last night. I do have an email address you know!!!!! Congratulations on a beautiful baby and also a beautiful name. In my "The Life You Were Born to Live" book little Lily is a 12/3. She will "display a strong combination of creative and expressive energy for writing, designing, speaking, debating, advising, promoting, or engaging in any creative field." Hmmmmmm, sounds like someone else I know! Well done to you both and I will be over soon! I love babies! Love to you all three. xxxxx

Congratulations to both Mum and (clearly proud) Dad.

Not everyone is fortunate to be a parent. But those of us who are know that this IS what life is all about.

And something my father told me on the birth of my #1 son... "The first 21 years are the hardest."

'Liffey' on Wed, 14 Feb 2007 17:59:49 GMT, sez:

Well done guys - simply spendiferous. She's adorable - you are very clever people to make such a cute wee human!

Eeek - this means that you're proper growned-ups now! :)
