Nitpicking Yahoo Mail
While I'm complaining about usability...
here's something i've seen in Yahoo mail that bugs me a little.
The label "This message is not flagged" is given far too much prominence. It's always the first thing I see on screen, because of its location and its colour.
Gmail use 'stars' rather than flags, and indicates that a message is not 'starred' by showing a blank star, like this: . If you click on it, it lights up, like this: . This system of flagging is more intuitive, less distracting and far more economical.
Hail gmail, boo yahoo.
